1. Your document
You confirm that you have the right to print the document you upload (for example, you wrote it, or have permission to copy it) and that it does not contain unlawful content. We may refuse any order.
2. Word documents: automatic conversion
Word (.docx) files are converted to PDF automatically on our server before printing. Our built-in converter is basic: fonts change to Helvetica, and spacing, page breaks, tables, images and layout can change compared with how the document looks on your computer.
Before ordering, you must tick a box confirming the following (version wc-3):
"I understand my Word documents are converted to PDF automatically with a basic converter, and I accept the result as it is. Fonts change to Helvetica, and spacing, page breaks, tables, images and layout may change. The shop is not responsible for differences caused by the conversion (no reprint or refund for them). If exact formatting matters, I can save my document as PDF myself and upload the PDF instead."
You can preview the converted PDF before accepting. If exact formatting matters, save your document as PDF yourself (in Word: File → Save As → PDF) and upload the PDF. The price of a Word order is based on the number of pages in the converted PDF. We record the date and version of the clause you accepted with your order. This clause does not affect printing defects caused by us (for example smudged, missing or misprinted pages), which are covered by section 6.
2a. Photos of notes
Photos you upload are turned into a PDF in your browser, one photo per page, scaled to fit A4. We print that PDF as it is. Blurry, dark or cut-off photos print the same way, so check the preview before ordering.
3. Prices
Prices are shown before you confirm and are calculated for each document from the number of pages in the PDF we print (for Word files, the converted PDF), your options and the delivery method. Every page counts as one printed page, including on double-sided prints. Delivery is free on orders of 500 printed pages or more (this threshold may change; the price at confirmation applies). Drop-off prices marked “Promo” are temporary. The total shown at confirmation is the amount due.
4. Payment
Payment is due when you place your order. You pay through Paystack (card, bank transfer, USSD or another method Paystack offers) and are returned to our website afterwards. We start printing only after Paystack confirms the payment to our server. Unpaid orders are not printed. [State how long unpaid orders are kept.]
5. Delivery and collection
Pickup at Shop 12, Students' Arcade, LASU, Ojo is free, during opening hours, once your order shows “Printed, ready for pickup”.
Scheduled drop-off: our rider brings your order to the drop point you chose at the time you chose (10am, 12pm, 2pm or 4pm). Your tracking page shows when the rider has arrived. [State how long the rider waits and what happens if you miss the slot.]
Express: delivered to the location you gave as soon as it is printed. [State the express area and target time.]
Order number: your 6-digit order number is what you show to collect your order. We hand over an order only to someone who gives the right order number. Keep it private.
